If you try to send a large file through Yahoo, an alert prompts you to save the file to either Google Drive or Dropbox. Once the email has been sent, the recipient can click the link in the email to view the file within Google Drive. You can opt to allow the person to review or edit the file, but they would need a Google account to perform either action. By default, the file is available just for viewing. When you try to send your email, you are asked to provide your recipient access to the file and set their permissions. If it’s too large, Google will generate a link to it in Google Drive. You can go through the process by starting a new email in Gmail and then attaching the file you want to send.
